Tulsa-based pipeline tech company T.D. Williamson (TDW) is merging with Canadian pipeline repair and maintenance firm Petro-Line, TDW announced Dec. 17.
The move expands TDW’s service portfolio for pipeline operators. The announcement did not include the cost of the transaction or the terms of the deal.
TDW offers in-line inspection, pigging, hot tapping and isolation. Alberta-based Petro-line provides a patented service called Petrosleeve that can quickly repair pipeline faults with little to no interruption of service, according to the announcement.
“This combination reinforces our shared commitment to providing best-in-class, technically differentiated solutions to critical energy infrastructure and allows us to support our customers in new ways,” said Bob McGrew, TDW president and CEO, in the announcement.
RBC Mid-Market Mergers and Acquisitions served as financial adviser to Petro-Line. Dentons Canada LLP served as the legal adviser to Petro-Line. Osler, Hoskin and Harcourt LLP served as the legal adviser to TDW.
