Pipeline maker Hexagon Agility said it received an $11.2 million order from an unnamed U.S. oilfield services company on Dec. 30.
The order is for the company’s Mobile Pipeline TITAN 450 modules, which Hexagon said will allow the service company to transition its fleet of well-completion equipment from diesel fuel to natural gas.
“Mobile Pipeline is vital to driving the transition from diesel fuel to natural gas,” Hexagon said in its announcement. “Oilfield services is one of the most demanding applications requiring cost-effective and reliable energy supply to remote and rugged areas.”
Hexagon’s Mobile Pipeline units are truck-loaded modules capable of storing and compressing gas that can be moved as needed. The company said the order was for 450 modules and delivery would start in the second quarter of 2025.
